America may have everything you are looking for. If you need photocopies or office supplies, Staples is open 24 hours...? America is a plentiful nation but their customer service sucks ass. Nobody gives a shit about their job.

I waited two weeks for the installation of the ever fast DSL connection. Sorry, I waited two weeks after they were supposed to deliver it. When Mr. UPS showed up at my door, he gave me the modem and...some cables to attach the modem oh, and an instruction book on how to install the modem. Great, all set to go... or am I ?

If you are unfamiliar with DSL, let me shed some light, the modem is absolutely fucking useless unless you have a "company supplied" network card. So now you have to wait a few more days for them to send you another package with their, "company supplied network card..."

It's so useless trying to hold anybody accountable. Do you really think, "Latisha" (your new customer service rep) in Georgia who's getting, $10.00 an hour gives a shit about you and your computer...5,000 miles away??? So you just take it in the ass and hope your network card arrives in the mail soon. After spending no less than 4 hours on hold trying to get them to send you the right start up info, you finally get it all up and running...only to experience "drop time" every other day.

Oh, but you can't cancel because somewhere on page 6, paragraph 9...you agreed to a one year, price gauged contract.

I was at the movie cinema and I asked the guy serving popcorn how he was doing. His reply, "I'm working in a movie theater, how do you think I am." I had no reply. If somebody isn't doing what they love, why should they care about their job?

I dunno, maybe pride. Maybe if you work harder at being friendlier, you wouldn't be serving popcorn. Everytime I get a bitchy "sales person" say at a bank or Starbucks, I always tell them, "That's exactly why you'll be at your shitty job forever. You suck"

Most jobs ARE shitty. Most bosses ARE assholes. But phuck, if we all did what we wanted to do, this world would be full of rock stars and astronauts. So in the meantime, suck it up and get me a coffee.
