So David Cook does a rendition of Dolly Parton's 'Little Sparrow'  now I gotta admit, I've been watching this season and although I mainly like the beginning of the season, (the painful auditions) my attention usually fades away...oh look, a poodle...  but this year, that kid, Michael Johns is pretty good, but too polished and borderline fake.  When he was singing Jim Morrison, he was really trying hard, too hard. 

Then, I watched a clip from Red Lasso - David Cook...wow.  This may be the first and probably last time that I would actually call in and vote. 

Now, where did that poodle go....
