What do you do when your family is falling apart?  When your brother is in jail for destroying a kid's life, your mother is having an affair with a 12 year old... do you lay low?  Maybe visit the victim's family, start a charity of sorts?  N'ah...you star in your own TV show. 

Last weekend, I was trapped into watching Hogan Knows Best, which now must go down as one of the greatest TV ironies in history... and by 'trapped' I mean I was high on the couch and I couldn't find the remote... I digress.

Anyway, I felt a slight, nay, a huge smile spread across my face.  Is it wrong?  Is it wrong for me to think, pride comes before a fall?  And that the Hogan's deserve everything they get?  God has a plan after all right Terry?  They're idiots, yet the keep on going and going.  To their credit, they don't take 'no' for an answer and that wonderful American quality has helped us earn our rightful place in the world today.

So yeah, to come out with your own TV show in the middle of personal family tragedies is amazingly stupid and ill timed.  Of course I'm going to watch it.
