Couples Retreat

As expected Couples Retreat is a pretty funny movie. Let's face it, nobody can bring the rap like Vince Vaughn. And when you put John Favreau and Vaughn in the same scene...nothing really beats it.  It's not your "Old School" party get drunk chicks type movie, it deals with the stresses of everyday married life.  That said, I can see that it wouldn't be for everyone.  Leonard Maltin, who was sitting behind me, copying my notes seemed to have enjoyed it.  The jokes aren't crass like in the days of Swingers, just more evolved.  I probably wouldn't spend $30+ bucks to bring a date, actually DON'T bring a date.  It'll just remind her of the years ahead.  Not a good thing.  It'll make you laugh and the supporting cast is phucking great.  A definate rental when it comes out.
