Oh, you have a boyfriend? Perhaps that's information I could have used before you said 'yes' to dinner.

But we're neighbors?!

Listen, I don't care if I'm your younger brother's best friend, I'm asking you out because I want to get you naked and do stuff to you.

The other week, I asked my neighbor to go for dinner.  She had moved in a few weeks ago, so I figured I'd better pounce quickly.  So like a mongoose, I sprung into action.

We had dinner, a few drinks, a few laughs...I paid.

Why did I mention that I paid?  Well, because to me that is considered a 'date'.  Not friends or neighbors going out.

A few days later, I meet up with her (I cornered her in the hallway) and for some reason asked if she was seeing someone. Normally I wouldn't have thought to ask (I assumed she was single) but she kept talking about how tired she was because 'her friend' kept snoring.

Now when a girl mentions a 'friend' it means a guy.

Ahhh... okay, so you have a boyfriend, and you go for dinner with another guy?  I mean that in itself isn't the issue, because women are cunts and they do things like that - the issue here is, she actually thought we were going as friendly neighbors, like I'm the welcoming committee.

She's lived in the building for a month.  Some strange guy asks her to dinner, they spend 2 hours laughing and drinking, she let's him pay and then she's shocked that I had other ideas?  Maybe nobody has ever asked her out before?  I mean she was only 11.
