And the reassuring thing is, you probably want to bang mine...Allow me to better explain myself;

I've dated countless women, hundreds, nay, thousands, perhaps 10's of thousands...But seriously, no matter how much I like the girl I'm dating, now matter how in love I may be, I always want to bang 'that chick over there’ And no doubt, someone is looking at the girl I'm with thinking the same thing (or they looking and wondering what I'm doing with a 13 year old Thai boy). 

But here's the thing, I'm not staring at her and concocting some elaborate scheme on what I want to do to her...no, it's just a quick glance.  You store it in your spank bank and when you're having sex with your girlfriend, you let your mind wander.  I know, I know, God forbid you actually think about someone else when we're trying to get off.  Yeah, like when you're jerking off you're really thinking about your girlfriend?  Puhlease!!!  You can think about anyone on the planet and you're going to think about the girl you're about to go furniture shopping with?  I don't buy it. 

The point is, I thought that if I kept having these feelings that meant the girl I was with wasn't 'the one’ As if I would stop all those urges I've had for the last 25 + years and all the urges of my forefathers...it would be like a slap in the face to all of them.  Those urges will never stop.  And to think I have control over them?

We're Cro-Magnons living in a postmodern world (Grissom).  So don't wait for those feelings or urges to go away, because they won't.  And if the girl you're with actually can understand that and in some ways encourages it, then look no further, because she's the one.
