When you are young and flaccid and you have not yet experienced enough rejection to be bitter and twisted, you blindly follow any sign that tells you, "she's the one."

As you get older, you realize that God has a sense of humor and you are his biggest laugh.

As you get older, you so desperately want to meet a girl that you take anything to be a sign that you and her are meant to be. If you see her twice in the same day..."Oh my God, it's meant to be."

Dude she works in the same building as you do...calm down.

"Oh my God, blue is her favorite color. Blue is my favorite color."

It all means nothing. It means that you saw the same girl twice in a day and she likes blue. But you push it... you are determined that this is all meant to be. So, you creep her out. You keep telling her, "how amazing it is you keep running into her." (Of course you hide the fact that you have been stocking her).

You look past everything else and focus on her being the one. Why? because you so desperately want a girlfriend that your head is all clouded up.

You must approach the situation like you have a thousand times. Oh wait, don't do that, that's why you are single in the first place.
