Hello, I'm 14 and need help gettin a girl.  Apparently, in high school its hard for me to hook up with girls, I don't know many girls and many girls don\'t know me.

A few girls flirt with me, but its hard to tell if they are just jokin or really flirting and wants to hook up. I need
advice on how to pick up a girl also. I suck with my lines. they are just horrible, lol, I need help from an professional.

Okay, first off realize how lucky you are that many of the girls don't know who you are.  Use that to your advantage.  Keep an air of mystery around you.  Not like some creepy magician or anything...just don't talk too much and give yourself away.  Trust me on this one.

By the 2nd week of high school, every girl knew who I was and what I was up to.  I just ran around like an idiot flirting with all the girls.  Why?  Total insecurity.  I wanted to know that I was liked and accepted by the girls.  Also, I couldn't make up my mind on which one I wanted to 'go for'  I mean what if I went for one, then 2 days later I wanted another one?  Well I did, and it was a lot of fun actually.  But your reputation suffers, and high school is long. 

Everyone is flirting with each other, guys with girls, girls with guys...teachers with students...oh wait... So don't read too much into a girl's flirtatious ways, not too quickly anyway.  If you find she's been flirting with you for over a month and does it more with you than any other guy, then maybe she does like you and you should SLOWLY approach it. 

Lines?  Don't waste your time on ever learning any lines except for the ones that begin with, 'The quality of mercy is not strained. It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath...'

Every situation is different.  What you need to have is a total awareness of your surroundings at any one time.  Like a mongoose waiting to strike...is she wearing a new shirt, does she have a new haircut...what music does she like.  You need to figure out all this stuff so when you approach her you'll have something to talk about.  Have a general idea of what to say to her before you strike, but don't bind yourself to it.  Because if she gives you an answer that you haven't prepared for, well, rock beats scissor, cobra beats mongoose.
