natureofproject: first of all, i like your website- i'm not sure how much of the information i can actually apply to my own situation but it's helpful... well anyway (i know you get a million of these types of e-mails about girls trying to figure out guys but whatever) how can you tell if a guy likes you? i undersand that all guys are different and can't possibly all like the exact thing, so can you just tell me what you know... also what could be the cause of a guy loosing interest in a girl, if she doesn't sleep with him?

Hey thanx for your email. How can you tell? Well, if he pays attention to you, or if he doesn't pay attention to you. Confusing? Get used to it. Here's the thing, some guys get all shy around a girl, so for some of them, 'paying attention' to you is a difficult thing. Well overtly paying attention to you anyway, I'm sure he pays plenty of mental attention to you when he's alone... I digress.

Does he run with the cool gang? If he's the alpha type, then he'll have problem coming up and flirting with you etc. Pretty much anytime we talk to someone of the opposite sex, we're flirting. I'm talking about the most basic form.. and for some, not even so basic.

If he's the shy guy, then he may look up at you and give an awkward smile as he passes you in the hall. If that's so, you have to just say 'Hi' to him and let him know you're open for conversation.

Stop with all the noise in your head; are you getting that feeling that he's paying a bit of extra attention to you? How does he act around you V. other girls?

"All guys are different and can't possibly like the same thing" Yes, it is very possible. There are about 3 things we all love. Food, sleep and sex. Not that that helps you much but boys/men all like the same thing. When you're younger you may not see it so clearly.

"Can a guy lose interest in a girl is she doesn't sleep with him?" Not as quickly as if she does sleep with him. He may run after someone else to get a quick fix, but that has nothing to do with liking someone. You are always better off not sleeping with the guy. For a million of reasons.. the biggest one is stupidity. Having sex with a guy is not a way to get him to like you. He'll act like it is, but it's not.

You may be the most popular girl in school if you're doing all the guys.. but there's more than one way to be popular. You can be popular with a cold sore on your lip, or you can be popular and desirable; andyou acheive that by not giving yourself away too easily. Also, If you tease a guy too much, he'll lose interest. And you're only teasing someone if you don't really like them and you just get them all foamed up then stop, just to see the squirm.
