Hey there,I'm in University and I'm figuring something out: everybody is all about hooking up.  I've never been comfortable doing just anything with a random person, or even anyone I haven't been in a relationship with. It seems like I'm the only girl who doesn't find hooking up fun. Is that normal, or am I being a priss?

Ok, back to you... here's the thing, university has always been about hooking up.  It's just nowadays, people seem to debase themselves more than
20 years ago.  We're about procreation, so combine that with the freedom of being on campus, drinking, etc.  It's like a Christmas office party.  Except it's going on all school year.  Are you a prude or a priss?  Definitely not.

Now's (University) probably the time where you'll be the most susceptible to peer pressure.  But if you've lasted this long, why give up now.  Mind you, you should still have your fun.  There's nothing wrong with making out or hooking up every once in a long while.. but that's just me, I'm a guy.  I'm sure Mircea will chime in and give her silly point of view...

But really, don't feel the need to randomly hook up with a guy (unless it's 2 guys) just because everyone else is doing it (literally).  It's better to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about yourself than it is to throw away your morals...no matter how gay they may be.

And we both know that the chicks who do phuck around all the time, while they are a wonderful and necessary evil, they have no self esteem.  They are
only popular because they spread their legs.  Your values will win in the end.  Unless you're a right wing religious zealot, but then why would you be on this site.
